How to Lighten Skin

Alright, so lets get into the real meat and answer the question "how to lighten your skin naturally ( http://steamspoils.com/how-to-lighten-skin ) " that was essentially the foundation of this blog. If you missed it, check out my "About Me" page to see a very short explanation for why I even care about skin lightening. Short answer: It's my culture. But besides that, there are a lot of people who place higher value on fairer skin and whether or not you like it it's not something that can be really be changed.

So if you can't beat them, why not join them?

There are some scientific benefits for those of you wondering. For one, lighter skin is know to last longer. And having light skin in and of itself is a sign that you're effectively getting rid of dead skin cells that normally accumulate on top of your skin, which results in a dull and dry complexion.

Skin lightening is majorly "in" right now because it's coming out more and more that celebrities are getting skin lightening procedures done, or studies are being done showing that people with fairer skin are scientifically more attractive. To be honest, I really don't know why this is. Some would quickly blame the media for setting the standards of beauty to prefer lighter skin, but it's pretty much the same around the world (America, South America, and Asia I know for sure). Also India, if you don't count it as part of Asia. And the media in these countries is vastly different. So maybe when you really get down to it, there's something in base human wiring that places more attractiveness in having lighter skin.

Regardless, it doesn't matter and there's no need to be upset over it because lightening your skin is pretty dang easy if I say so myself.

1. Avoid sunlight as much as possible

This is pretty much a given but it can take a conscious effort. If you're going to go full hermit mode and never step outside until you get brighter than ever (not recommendable) then you're going to want to, at the very least, take Vitamin D pills so you don't suffer from being deficient in sunlight.

2. Take pills/get surgeries

Another decent option, if you have the money to spend, is to actually take pills or get surgeries that are designed to lighten your skin. There are also a lot of "skin whitening" creams out there, but to be honest most of those NEVER worked for me so I won't recommend them.

3. Stick with whatever you pick

When you find a method and see decent results, don't end up killing yourself by trying a bunch of random garbage to try and speed up results. Do what WORKS and be PATIENT.

It's really that simple, but a lot of people mess up trying to figure out how to lighten skin as fast as possible - don't be one of them.
